Hello! My name is Teacher Catherine! I live in North Carolina, USA. I have been teaching for more than 30 years and I love being a teacher! After graduating from the university summa cum laude with a degree in history, I went on to become a classroom teacher. I have taught English as a Second Language in American schools to children from Kindergarten through High School. I have taught English privately in South America. I have also taught over 40,000 online English classes in the last 8 years! I have taught almost 3500 students online. I currently teach ESL to students on several continents, as well as teaching English and Spanish to students in US public schools. Additionally, I have taught groups of all ages in a variety of volunteer positions, sometimes speaking to groups of more than 500 students.
I also have experience as a second language learner. I am fluent in my second language, Spanish, so I understand the process of language acquisition in a second language.
